Hello, you can use the hot plate over the key on and off at the control panel. But if the Heated Top is off it is still slightly warm since it is used as a dropping resistor for the gear motor. Gru Sir Rossi
Hi Rossi which button do you mean? Have only one button in the front panel (far right above) that turns the whole Gert. This I wanted to leave it turned on, so it does not take as long to the water is warm. Since we do not use the hotplate, I wanted to turn this off to save power. A separate button for the hot plate I have not. Gru
