My son and his girlfriend electric food warmer tray last weekend here in Hopefield visiting. As a mother electric food warmer tray I wanted fitting with their tummies full return home. I made the eierpannekoek. 6 eggs 50 ml butter 50 ml oil (any kind) 250ml bacon cut into small pieces (just buy the already chopped bacon) 1 onion finely chopped 20ml chopped 20 ml pietsielie roosmarynblaarjies chopped (remember that you pietesielie and rosemary in a cup can fynknip with kitchen scissors) 250 ml crushed tomatoes (halved rosa tomatoes or plain tomato finer cut) 250 ml cheese of your choice (cheddar, blue cheese or whatever is in the fridge)
NOW: Make your butter and oil in the pan. Fry your onions and bacon together in the pan. Fry the tomatoes, parsley and rosemary along with the onions and bacon. Beat six eggs and pour it in the pan. Pull the egg a little bit away from the side so it can be done. Sprinkle the cheese over the eierpannekoek. It will not quite cooked from above. Put your oven on grill (grill) and press the pan under the qiuckly element of the oven.

My love for cooking, I'd like to share. This is no fancy cooking blog. It's just a simple cooking blog so that my children and their friends and their friends' friends can learn to cook. So they do not so much have to call to find out how to make one ... I hope my love for comfort food will also help to just good cooking. Looking for a recipe?
