2 beautiful leeks 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (I used Arbequina) 1 tablespoon herb vinegar


Taking advantage of the contest organized by Laura, which invites us to steaming, I wanted to make this recipe I tried at my sister and I was pleasantly surprised, they were absolutely delicious and accompanied by the vinaigrette the ultimate, loved it so much that I adopted quickly.
Without further ado, I leave you with the recipe, which is simple to rage and in a moment we have a healthy and tasty dish that can be used as a starter or as a single dish as the amount we use.
2 beautiful leeks 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (I used Arbequina) 1 tablespoon herb vinegar 1 tablespoon chopped chives 1 tablespoon chopped capers alphatec spine inc 1 egg Salt Maldon
We wash the leeks well, removing the bottom and the green. We removed the first leaves and wash very well. We put in a steamer with a background of water, cover and cook over medium-low heat about 20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the leeks. Ensure that the bottom water is not in contact with the leeks. We will know that they are made by clicking a thin knife and then we will notice if they are tender. Turn off the heat and keep in the steamer until serving time. You can take warm or cold, I like it both ways.
Serve the leeks and distributed over a good amount of the vinaigrette, add some rock salt and garnish with the remaining egg. With the amounts I have given vinaigrette left over, but I assure alphatec spine inc you there was nothing left in the bowl.

I have been with a pint fabulous happened to me something like: I tried them first in the hospital after I had surgery in cream and since then I have not stopped eating them and see that hospital food is bland bland ! lol kisses Reply Delete

I do not doubt that Laura will like your recipe. Who does not?! If deliciously healthy and tasty. I also met later leeks. At home all I was cooking with them was the vichyssoise, cream drives me absolutely crazy, alphatec spine inc and there had just the thing. I like a lot too and always find in my fridge.
